A designer gifted with the vision as well as the training of an architect, Jeff Vioski grew up in the progressive design culture of Chicago. Through his academic studies and early career in architecture, Jeff developed a style that combines architectural theory with a strong appreciation for the way people want to live their lives. Jeff’s formal training in architecture drives his furniture designs, at once discouraging non-essential design flourishes and prescribing an elegant union of form and function. Every design detail has significance, and form follows function.
Jeff holds a Master’s Degree in Architectural Design from the University of Wisconsin and has been designing homes and interiors for over 14 years. He began his career as a high-end residential architect for Sutherland Architectural in prestigious Lake Forest, IL. After three successful years with Sutherland, Jeff relocated to Seattle where he worked for the commercial architectural firm Group West. Jeff left Group West to open his own firm specializing in residential architecture and interior design. There Jeff developed his warm, modern style and successfully designed numerous homes and interiors for his higher-end clientele.
Jeff’s style fully developed when he migrated south to Los Angeles seven years ago. Notable for its architectural underpinnings and sleek but detailed design aesthetic, Jeff’s current collection celebrates relaxed urban lifestyles and embraces the way people want to live their lives. Loving all things modern while not being restricted by any particular design movement, Jeff Vioski allows himself the freedom to transform images that inspire him into furniture that breaks new ground without being pretentious. He then uses his technical training to ensure that those designs provide common-sense solutions for the way people actually live. This marriage of aesthetics and practicality is only one of the reasons that Jeff Vioski has been a finalist in Interior Design magazine’s Best of Year award five times, and has won twice.
