When asked about my style influences, mid-century design is an obvious reference, but my deep connection with nature—frequent hikes in the mountains and visits to places like Huntington Library and Gardens—also shapes my approach. Classical architecture and gardens also influence my work as well though not as obviously. Above all, my designs prioritize the thoughtful organization of space. I believe that beauty lies in the relationship between spaces, exemplified by elements such as a well-designed, floor-to-ceiling built-in at the end of a hallway, drawing the eye and inviting exploration. Every journey through a home, whether along a hallway or to the front door, is intentionally crafted to enhance the experience. A well-organized house is, to me, a source of joy. Imagine a traditional Italian garden with crushed stone pathways and fragrant lavender bushes guiding you to the front door, where a harmonious mix of styles welcomes you—a philosophy I embrace in my designs.
